D K Shivakumar,who has been elected as the new leader of the Congress Legislature Party,will be sworn in on June 3.
Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot will administer the oath of office to D K Shivakumar and his team at a ceremony to be held at 4.05 pm at Lok Bhavan.
After the election as the new leader at the Congress Legislature Party meeting at Vidhana Soudha, D K Shivakumar proceeded directly to Raj Bhavan and submitted a letter to the Governor seeking time for the swearing in.
In response,the Governor issued a letter of permission for Shivakumar and his probable Cabinet members to be sworn in.
