Amid heavy rains that lashed several parts of the city on Friday evening,Bengaluru Traffic Police,along with law and order police personnel,intensified vigilance and traffic management efforts to ensure smooth vehicular movement and public safety.
Police personnel were seen regulating traffic at key junctions,clearing waterlogged stretches and assisting commuters affected by the downpour.

In a humanitarian gesture that drew public appreciation, a traffic constable attached to Byatarayanapura Traffic Police Station was seen carrying a differently-abled man on his shoulders to help him cross a flooded road during the rain.
The constable,identified as Anil Kumar,noticed that the man was unable to cross the waterlogged stretch amid heavy traffic and rain.He immediately came to his aid and safely helped him reach the other side of the road.
The act was appreciated by onlookers and commuters, with many praising the constable’s dedication and humane approach while discharging duty during adverse weather conditions.
Meanwhile Malleswaram Traffic Inspector Suresh and his team were seen closing the Manhole cover near Iskcon temple as due to heavy rain the manhole cover got open and water was flooding in high speed which could result in huge jam as it is a huge traffic flow area and in another good gesture the cops were seen cutting the fallen trees branches and making way for smooth traffic and help citizens to reach home safely.
Senior officer said personnel across the city were placed on alert due to heavy rain and were coordinating with their law and order counterparts to manage congestion and prevent inconvenience to the public.
