Three Juveniles Held for Robbery and Vehicle Theft in Bengaluru

Three juveniles in conflict with the law,accused of assaulting a youth,robbing him of cash,and stealing his two-wheeler,have been taken into custody by the Rajarajeshwarinagar police.

According to police,the complainant,a resident of Kenchenahalli under the limits of Rajarajeshwarinagar Police Station, lodged a complaint on May 15, 2026.

In the complaint,he stated that on the same night, his son was heading near Ideal Homes for xerox work when four unidentified persons on a two-wheeler intercepted him,assaulted him with their hands, and robbed Rs.200 cash along with his two-wheeler.

Police said the accused later sent a message through Instagram informing the victim that the stolen vehicle had been abandoned near Jayanna Circle. Based on the complaint,a robbery case was registered at Rajarajeshwarinagar Police Station.

During the investigation,police pursued multiple leads and gathered credible information through informants.

On May 20, 2026,three suspects were apprehended near Village City Kalyana Mantapa within the station limits along with a two-wheeler.

During interrogation,the trio allegedly confessed to committing the offence along with another associate. Police later confirmed that all three were juveniles in conflict with the law.

The police seized a two-wheeler allegedly used in the crime, a mobile phone, and Rs.100 cash from the juveniles.

Further investigation revealed that the seized vehicle was linked to a two-wheeler theft case registered at Kaggalipura Police Station,leading to the detection of that case as well.

Police said the juveniles would be counselled appropriately and produced before the Juvenile Justice Board.Efforts are underway to trace the fourth accused, and further investigation is in progress.

The operation was carried out under the guidance of West Division (In-charge) Deputy Commissioner of Police,B.S.Nemagouda,under the leadership of Byatarayanapura Sub-Division Assistant Commissioner of Police,Uday Bhaskar.The case was solved by a team led by Rajarajeshwarinagar Police Inspector Kumaraswamy N and other police personnel.
