The Army Institute of Management and Technology (AIMT), Greater Noida, successfully organized Marketinar 2026 on Saturday, centered around the theme “Understanding Customer Expectations: The Pathway to Customer Satisfaction.” The seminar brought together eminent marketing professionals, academicians, and industry leaders who shared valuable insights on evolving customer dynamics and strategies for achieving customer satisfaction.
The programme commenced with the traditional lighting of the ceremonial lamp, setting an auspicious tone for the event. Dr. Pallavi, Associate Professor and Area Chair—Marketing at AIMT, introduced the theme and highlighted the rapidly evolving landscape of modern marketing.
Welcoming the distinguished guests, Major General (Dr.) Rajendra Bana, Director, AIMT, emphasized the importance of aligning academic excellence with industry requirements. The event was graced by Dr. (Hon.) Vipin Gaur, General Secretary of the Newspaper Association of India, as the Chief Guest, whose presence added great significance to the occasion.
During the seminar, speakers unanimously emphasized that true customer satisfaction can only be achieved by deeply understanding customer expectations. Addressing the gathering, Chief Guest Dr. Vipin Gaur highlighted the critical role of media in bridging the gap between businesses and customers. He stated that in today’s fast-paced digital era, effective communication, credibility, and audience engagement are essential for understanding and meeting customer expectations.
Ms. Shweta Beri, CEO and Techno-Marketer at Mahanadaya Universal Consultancy Pvt. Ltd., spoke on the convergence of technology and marketing and its role in fulfilling customer expectations. Mr. Sudhanshu Saumyan, Founder and Brand Strategist at Brandroid Consultancy, elaborated on branding strategies and emphasized the importance of trust and credibility in the market.
Mr. Gurneet Singh Punia, Senior Strategic Account Manager at Agoda.com, shared insights on understanding customer behavior in the digital ecosystem and stressed the importance of data-driven strategies. The session also featured insights from Mr. Virender Kataria, President—Strategic Business Development at IAPL-KW Capital Advisors LLP, who discussed customer satisfaction from the perspective of business development and investment, highlighting the need for customer-centric growth models.
