The KR Puram police have arrested two people who allegedly fought in public in a matter related to liking the same girl,officials said on Tuesday.
The arrested are Roshan and Mamu alias Wasim,both aged between 26 and 28 and were rouges,the police said.Both are known to each other developed a difference over a girl they are dating .
Senior officer told reporters that the two gathered near KR Puram at around 8.30 pm on February 1 along with a few of their associates.The argument escalated and Mamu attacked Roshan,leading to him sustaining injuries.
The CCTV of the melee went viral on social media. Residents complained that the gangs are mushrooming and fights on the road creating fear psyshocisi .
The police should increase the patrolling to contain such gangs,Akram pasha one of the resident said .
A case was registered and the KR Puram police arrested the duo.Afer probe is underway,officials said.
