he Chikkaballapur rural police on Tuesday arrested a gang of ten who bludgeoned their 28-year-old relative to death over a row over illicit affair on Sunday.
The deceased has been identified as Subhash,who worked as manager with a e-cart company and married to the sister of prime accused,an year ago .
The couple had a three month old baby boy and it was a love marriage against the wishes of the girl.The couple used to fight accusing each other of having illicit affair .
The prime accused Manoj got to know about this and roped in Praveen who allegedly had an affair with deceased wife .
On Sunday,the duo along with eight others called Subhash for a talk and after a heated argument bludgeoned him to death using lethal weapons and dumped his body in a drainage on Gauribidanur road .
Fearing repercussions,few of the accused who witnessed to the crime surrendered before the police and confessed to the crime .
The police swung into action and recovered the body before arresting the rest of the accused .
The police have recovered the weapons used by the accused and booked them under murder for further investigations.
