A woman and her son electrocuted and step daughter injured when a high tension wire came in contact with the iron poles they had put up to dry cloths outside their house in Karanala village in the outskirts of Doddaballapura on Tuesday.

he deceased have been identified as Lalithamma,50, her step son Sanjay,45,a farmer.
The injured Lakshmmamma,step daughter also injured in the accident and admitted to hospital for treatment.
Senior officer told reporters,Lalithamma,is a third wife of Narayanappa,and living with the family after the death of two wives .
She had put out the clothes for drying outside the house and went to pick up .
Meanwhile an electrical wire connected to the adjacent under construction house pass through the house,came in contact with the iron pole .
Without realising this Lalithamma,went to pick up the clothes and electrocuted,collapsed on the ground and died .
Hearing the sound Sanjay went to check and tried to rescue step mom,but he was also electrocuted and died on the spot.
Lakshmmamma who was busy in household chores rushed out and saw the duo lying dead,tried to reach them but due to electric shock she was throw away and sustained injuries .
The neighbours hearing this rushed to their help and with the help of wooden pole pulled them away and rushed them to hospital,before alerting the police.The police reached the spot and disconnected the power to prevent further damage.
The BESCOM officials inspected the site and found that the electric wire which passed through the victim’s house had skinned out and had came in contact with the roof of the house which used iron poles and binding wires,leading to the accident.
The BESCOM officials are further investigating the accident,while the Doddaballapura police have registered a case of un natural death and awaiting report for further investigation.
