GraFTII North, the alumni association of the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune, has introduced its newly elected office bearers at the General Body Meeting held on 23 August 2025. The elections were conducted earlier on 10 April 2025.
Shri Naresh Bedi (Padmashri) has been elected as President, Shri Sunil Sharma as Vice President, Shri Sanjeev Sood as General Secretary, and Shri Naresh Sharma as Treasurer. The Executive Members are Ms. Gauri Durga Chakraborty, Shri Lav Chawla, and Shri Ankush Verma.
FTII is recognized as a Deemed University and an Institution of National Importance. Its alumni have excelled across all domains of film and television, with their work frequently showcased at film festivals and honored with prestigious national awards and international accolades. The alumni association, GraFTII, was initially established in Pune and later expanded to Bombay. The Delhi chapter was founded on 10 May 1991, and in February 2013, it was decided to rename it GraFTII North India. On 16 April 2014, GraFTII North was registered under the Societies Registration Act.
GraFTII North has outlined plans to expand its membership, launch fundraising initiatives for its activities, and curate a calendar of events aimed at strengthening professional collaboration and cultural exchange among FTII alumni and the Film, Television and OTT platforms.
