Mangalam University successfully organized the Patrkar Samman Samaroh 2.0, an event dedicated to honoring journalists for their relentless service to society and their unwavering commitment to truth and ethics in journalism. The event took place on the university’s Gurugram campus and was marked by a distinguished gathering of eminent personalities from the field of media, education, and social service.
Recognizing the Torchbearers of Journalism – The Patrkar Samman Samaroh 2.0 brought together notable journalists from across India to acknowledge their vital role in shaping public opinion, safeguarding democratic values, and raising awareness on key social issues. A Beacon of Journalistic Excellence Dr. Vipin Gaur, a celebrated journalist and social activist, has carved a distinct identity among Indian journalists. He is the Founder of the International Council for Journalists, Chief Editor of Country and Politics, and General Secretary of the Newspaper Association of India.
Having received more than 75 national and international awards, Dr. Gaur has consistently worked towards the welfare and empowerment of media professionals across the nation. His contributions span over a decade, with significant achievements in journalism, social service, and cultural development.
Speaking at the event, Dr. Gaur expressed his gratitude and highlighted the importance of such initiatives “Journalism is not merely a profession; it is a moral duty towards the nation. Unveiling of “AARAMBH” – A New Beginning for Students
The ceremony also marked the official unveiling of “AARAMBH,” the university’s dynamic Pre-Orientation Week.
