Even after two days of the fire mishap,where five people including a couple and their two minor children were charred to death,the FSL and BESCOM officials continue to probe in detail to ascertain the exact cause of the incident.
The police who are part of the probe,told by the neighbours and eye witnesses that they have noticed sparks from the power lines for the last three days prior to the incident and brought it to the notice of the owner of the building.
The police also traced the seven people including a family who were residing in the second floor who escaped by jumping to the adjacent building soon after noticing the fire .
The residents are part of the Mohan Lal family who is a businessman in the same lane.They told the police that they noticed thick smoke filled the building as out of scare and shock they ran to the terrace and jumped to the adjacent building .
The FSL team also inspected the area and checked the LPG cylinders to rule out the possibility of mishap due to cylinder leakage.
Meanwhile Fire noticed again at the third floor of the same building,creating panic among the neighbours.
However no one injured since the building was evacuated a fire tender rushed to the spot and put out the fire ..
Residents complained to the police to shift the LPG cylinders kept in the building to ensure safety .
