The Lokayukta police on Saturday trapped and arrested police inspector of Ramamurthynagar station and his junior along with a private person,red handed while accepting a bribe of rupees one lakh .
The accused identified as,Rajshekar,48, the PI;Ruman Pasha,32,a PSI at the station,and Imran Babu,32,from DJ Halli,who is a private person.
Lokayukta police said they laid the trap after the complainant told them that the police officers and the private person had demanded a bribe of Rs.2 lakh for recovering jewellery and cash of his clients wife took without his knowledge.
The suspects were caught while accepting Rs.1 lakh as part of the bribe.Lokayukta police have processed the arrest and recovered the bribe money.
