The Indian Railways Pavillion at the Vibrant Gujarat Trade Show has been themed on India’s semi high speed “Train18”. The popular pavillion is attracting visitors, foreign delegates & students. This global trade show was inaugurated by Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi on 17th January, 2019 in the presence of Shri Vijay Rupani, Hon’ble CM of Gujarat & Foreign delegates from various countries.
Indian Railways has transformed in the last 4 years, achieving one milestone after another & surpassing targets with out of the box thinking. The pavillion showcased progress & achievements during the last 4 years, like India’s longest Rail-cum-Road Bridge and Asia’s second longest Bogibeel bridge on Brahmaputra river which connects north east india , Railway’s ode to the iron Man of India – Kevadiya station which will provide connectivity to the statue of unity, India’s first National Rail and Transportation Institute at Vadodara, green initiatives as well as digital & technological advancements over IR etc in very attractive, aesthetic & informative panels.
Besides this, train running models & paper models of Bullet train & Double Stack Container are main attractions of the IR Pavilion. In addition to this, scrollers at the pavilion are showcasing achievements in different fields like capacity enhancement, heritage, safety & security and cleanliness are shown in an informative manner with visual impact.
At the Virtual Reality Coach of Train 18, you can experience 360 degrees Train 18 special features in three categories cockpit, executive class & economic class. Similarly you can view 6 major achievements in video medium at the Interactive coach of train 18. The Virtual Reality Coach & Interactive screens are favourites & most visited at this Pavillion.
