The North Division Police arrested a group of six peddlers including three engineering graduates and recovered drugs worth Rs.61 lakh from them.
The police have seized 6.2 kilograms of Ganja,270 grams of MDMA,75 grams of charas,three mobile phones and cash Rs.69,100 from them.
The accused have been identified as Mohammed Shoib, 28,Chandan,Umar Saud,26, Bahaddur Bhola,20 and Farhan Hussain, 29.
Among them Shoib,Chandan and Saud are engineering graduates who were addicted to drugs and later turned to peddling .
The trio were caught red handed while trying to deliver the drugs near HMT quarters in Jalahalli.
The accused are operating in JC Nagar,Hebbal,RT Nagar and Jalahalli police station limits.The police are continue investigations to track down the source and the network of the accused .
