he Bandepalya police and his team willingly taken on a new responsibility.They are not just maintaining law and order in the area they also doing the role of teachers and guides helping 10th standard students to cross major milestone .
As many as 100 students who failed in the exam in the area have been identified and encouraged to get into 20 days of crash course to prepare to crack the upcoming supplementary exam scheduled in June this year.
While probing a complaint i realize that many students have failed and getting astray and thought of helping them in whatever possibly way to push them into mainstream, LY,Rajesh, Inspector,Bandepalya,said .
Thinking of an idea,the police staff asked to visit the schools and get the list of failed students and their contact details the team collected 114 students details.
The parents of the students counselled asking them to enrol their children for the crash course.
The next step was to get a good teachers for the course which was arranged after approaching the school management in and around and getting a school as a venue,Mr.Rajesh said .
Every year the police will organize crime prevention weak and this time we thought of doing it different and help the students to achieve what they were planning,he added.
There are around 102 registrations for the classes.Most of the students were from the schools in the Bandepalya police station limit.
Surprisingly most of the students have failed in Kannada.This Training Camp is for the students who are writing their SSLC Supplementary Examination on the 27th of June 2022.
The Students who are appearing for the Exams are from the Middle Class and Lower Middle-Class backgrounds.
The main intention is that we don’t want one year of the students to go to waste and we don’t want them to get into the wrong company and miss all the opportunities they are going to get in their lives.
Students are provided with Lunch and Refreshments,he added .
Best Teachers from different schools across Bandepalya are selected to train the students to get more than 50 percent results.
The students are not only being coached on the subjected they have failed but also boost their confidence and morale so that they should not get astray and focus on the goal to crack the exam.
We are also planing to help the students to enroll them into colleges and help them to complete the graduation,to make them better citizen and contribute to the growth of country said DCP Southeast, Srinath Mahadev Joshi.
