In view of Prime Minister’s visit to KSR Bengaluru Railway Station on August 10, 2025,security at the station has been strengthened.
The Railway Protection Force (RPF),Government Railway Police (GRP),and Local Police have put in place a multi-layered security plan.
Security measures include deployment of bomb-sniffing dog squads,additional RPF,Railway Protection Special Force (RPSF) and GRP personnel,use of Door Frame Metal Detectors,Hand-Held Metal Detectors,and baggage scanners.All entry and exit points at the station will have strict access control.
Mukul Saran Mathur,General Manager,South Western Railway,and R.S.P.Singh,Principal Chief Security Commissioner/RPF,Hubballi,reviewed the arrangements today.
Passengers are requested to cooperate with security staff and reach the station well in advance to allow time for screening.
The Prime Minister will be visiting the station to flag off the new Vande Bharat Express service between KSR Bengaluru and Belagavi.
