Traffic police have imposed restricted in and around CBD area in the wake of the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) is hosting a Special Felicitation Program to honour the outstanding achievement and performance of the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB).
The ceremony will be held from 05:00 PM to 06:00PM at M.Chinnaswamy Stadium on Wednesday .
According to the official release,entry to this program is allowed only to those who have entry tickets and passes.
Due to limited parking,public are advised to use Metro and other public transport.Public are advised to avoid CBD area for their commute from 03:00 PM to 09:00 PM.
Parking of all types of vehicles is prohibited in and around the areas surrounding Chinnaswamy Stadium.
Traffic movement has been restricted on:Ambedkar veedi,Cubbon road,M.G.Road,Queens Road and on Kasturaba Road.
Parking has been arranged at St Joseph Indian School Ground,UB City Parking lot, BMTC TTMC Shivajingara 1st Floor and old KGID Building, Kings Road, (Inside Cubbon Park).
Public are requested to co-operate.
As the crowd started gathering at Vidhana Soudha and Chinnaswamy Stadium traffic movement has been disrupted .
Motorists caught in the jam while traffic police are seen helpless controlling the crowd.
Many schools have let off the classes early after informing the parents to pick up their children tuition centres and coaching classes have decided to take the classes online.
Additional police personnel have been deployed in the CBD area to monitor law and order problem. Senior police officials including the Deputy Commissioners of Central and East division have ben instructed to supervise the security arrangements .
