An autorickshaw driver was allegedly assaulted by a woman in Bellandur on Saturday.
The incident has gone viral following which and based on a complaint by the victim Lokesh, 33, the Bellandur police registered a case.
In his complaint Lokesh claimed that the two unknown people,who were on a two-wheeler,accused him of brushing off against their vehicle and then assaulted him near Centro Mall,Bellandur.
The viral video showed the woman beating the driver with her chappal as he continued to record her.
Bellandur police registered an FIR and that an investigation has been launched.
