In order to ensure the successful implementation of the SC survey within BBMP limits,he emphasized the need to enhance public awareness through radio jingles and public announcements via auto-tippers used for waste collection. He appealed to citizens to cooperate actively with the survey process.
Speaking on the occasion,Member of Legislative Council Sudham Das remarked that public participation in the BBMP area has been lower than expected.
He urged citizens not to fear or be misled by any confusion or misinformation. He reiterated that the collected data would not be used to determine eligibility for any schemes apart from internal reservations.
He encouraged people to participate in the survey without apprehension. He also advised that if enumerators are found not performing their duties properly, the public should report such instances to the concerned authorities.

Awareness campaigns including street plays, wall posters, leaflet distributions, and involvement of local leaders are being employed to inform and engage the public in the survey process.
*Key Suggestions Made by Scheduled Caste Community Leaders:*
* There is a significant lack of awareness among community members regarding the SC survey; therefore, efforts must be made to provide clear and comprehensive information.
* Misinformation suggesting that the survey will lead to denial of benefits has discouraged participation. Clear communication should be provided to dispel such myths.
* A mechanism could have been introduced to provide citizens with a copy or acknowledgment of the information they submit to the enumerators.
On this occasion Revenue Officer (Gandhinagar) K. Shrinivas, representatives and leaders of the Scheduled Caste community, and other relevant officials were present.
