A 26-year-old Rowdy-sheeter was hacked to death by a gang over drunken brawl in Byatarayanapura police station limits on Sunday.
The deceased Koushik,a cab driver having multiple criminal cases pending against him was found dead in Bapujinagar .
Senior officer told reporters that Koushik has around six criminal cases including a murder cases reported in 2020.He was arrested and sent to Central prison of Parappana Agrahara .
Few months ago he was out on bail and used to drive cab to eke out a living.On Sunday,he had a party with his friends and got drunk.
Police suspect that during an argument over trivial row , his friends attacked him with beer bottle and crushed him to death using a stone found on road side .
The Byatarayanapura police have registered a case of murder and efforts are on to track down the accused who are on the run.
