The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP)will bear the cost of all supporting documents required, including those necessary for the submission of sindhutva certificate,for pourakarmikas who are being appointed on a permanent basis within the BBMP limits.
Among pourakarmikas working under the Direct Payment System (DPS) in the Solid Waste Management (SWM) department,a final selection list of 12,692 eligible candidates, based on roster and reservation rules, was published on November 16, 2024.
Appointment orders have already been distributed to approximately 4,000 pourakarmikas*,and necessary steps are being taken to *issue appointment orders to the remaining pourakarmikas at the earliest*.
To complete the sindhutva verification process of the selected candidates, reports are to be obtained from respective district authorities.
In this regard,applications have already been uploaded on the Seva Sindhu portal.Continuous coordination with the concerned officials is being ensured for effective monitoring and timely processing.
*BBMP to bear Costs:
Applicants are required to upload Certificate-1 and Certificate-2 via their login on the Seva Sindhu portal.
The cost of obtaining physical certificates,notary services,and related documentation will be borne by BBMP for those candidates who have not yet received their appointment orders.
Instructions have been issued to all Zonal Joint Commissioners to account for these expenses under the current fiscal year’s budget heading:
Account Code 02-210999–Other General and Miscellaneous Expenses.
*Avoid Inducements:
BBMP officials will assist candidates in preparing and uploading the necessary documents related to the pourakarmika recruitment process.
Therefore,selected candidates are strictly advised not to approach any intermediaries or engage with any third parties.
Special Commissioner (Admin) and Secretary of the Pourakarmika Selection Committee Naveen Kumar Raju has appealed to all concerned to refrain from offering or accepting any inducements, ensuring a fair and transparent recruitment process.
