private bank manager attempted to end his life at his residence in Talaghattapura on Thursday succumbed on Friday.
The deceased Vivek Samdarshi,a regional head of sales at ICICI Bank,returned home distressed and went to the room before calling his wife and saying good bye before taking the extreme step.
Shocked wife who was busy in her daily chores in the other side of the house and tried to open the door but it was locked from inside.She raised alarm and with the help of neighbours forced open the door and rescued Vivek.
He was rushed to the hospital where he succumbed on Friday.
Based on the complaint filed by Monika,wife of Vivek,the Thalaghattapura police have registered a case of un natural death and are investigating .
Monika in her complaint said that she suspected harassment at workplace which could led to his death, which is being probed .
The police have recovered his mobile phone and laptop for analysis to ascertain the exact reason for his extreme step .
