The Halasurugate police have registered an FIR against village administrative officer of Hosakote taluk for registering three properties by forging the documents four years ago.
After a detailed probe,Srinivas H,Tahsildar,Bangalore South Taluk,has filed a complaint with the police seeking legal action against Jamsheed Ahamed Khan on Tuesday.
Senior officer said,the accused had submitted the properties for registration on behalf of the then Bengaluru South Tahsildar south taluk in July 2021 .
He personally visited the office personally to get the registration process done using dubious means even the Tahsildar was not present at the office .
The incident came to light when the issue was highlighted at the a petition was filed with the district commissioner office seeking detailed probe.
Based on the report,a probe was ordered and found that the accused have misusing his powers got three properties registered and even responsible for making the documents pertaining to the registration process.
The officials sought the explanation from the officials concerned who have replied to the notice served in this regard,but the accused neither submitted holding him responsible for the missing of documents .
The police have booked the accused under Karnataka State Public Records Act for further investigation.
