Voter ID data theft case: Two among Project incharge and account officer of Chilume firm arrested

The Halasurugate police on Wednesday arrested two more people from Chilume firm in connection with the voters data theft case. With their arrest the total number of the accused in the case has reached to 14 .

The accused Maruthi Gowda and Abhishek are project in-charge and account officer of the chilume firm and are close to Ravi Kumar.

The accused not only supervising the survey project but also looking after the finance of the project including the salaries of the staff hired for he project.

The duo was summoned by the police on Tuesday for questioning and were arrested on Wednesday after their role in the case was established .

Meanwhile the police continue questioning the BBMP officials and issued notices to the two senior officials for questioning .
