The southeast Divisions CEN police personnel have cracked the online cheating case and arrested a 26-year-old online marketing executive from Gurgaon, who along with his associates duped a free cash payment company along with a group of students worth Rs.15.5 lakh by floating a fake coaching company .
The accused who worked as online marketting executive using his work experience roped in his five associates and registered online coaching centre to provide coaching and materials to the students preparing for professional and competative exams.
The accused had made an agreement with the cash free payment company in the city paid Rs.15.5 lakh through the company based on the enrollments of the candidates.
The company realized the scam when the candidates approached the company seeking refund as the coaching centre was shut down overnight .
After repeated attempts to approach the south division police and filed a complaint .
A special team of police led by Inspector,Eshwari Suresh and his team swung into action and with the help of technical inputs track down the accused through the domain where the accused had registered his company online.
The police team obtained his ID details from the company and went to his native in Rajasthan but the accused had escaped from there.
Tracking him down with the help of call record details and reached a residential apartment in Gurgaon where the accused was hiding .
The police team waited for few days and kept a tab on delivery agents to zeroing in on the accused,probe revealed that the accused suspected to have committed the similar offences and investigations are on.
The police are also on the lookout for the other accused who are on the run as soon as Nitesh Yadav is arrested .
City police commissioner B. Dayananda appreciated the police team for cracking the case .
