CCB cracks whip on drug peddling network run from Bengaluru prison and arrested 2 inter-state Drug peddlers and seized synthetic drugs worth Rs.71 Lakhs

Major crack down on drug peddlers the Central Crime Branch officials busted a inter state drug racket being operated by a peddler from central prison of Parappana Agrahara .

The officials arrested three peddlers including two from KS Layout and Nagarabhavi while the kingpin was taken into custody on body warrant for further investigation.

The racket was busted based on a tip off,The police team nabbed Fayaz,28 from Kerala recovered synthetic drugs including MDMA crystals,hydro ganja,ecstasy pills, LSD strips and Hashish oil total worth Rs.71 lakh which he had stored in a rented house in Chandra Nagar in KS Layout.

Based on his information the police nabbed his associate Goutham,35 from Nagarabhavi who are acting as suppliers for the king pin identified as Amir Khan,who is presently lodged in the prison.

Further questioning revealed that the Fayaz and Goutham consumers from Amir Khan started peddling drugs on the latter’s behalf.

The accused used to source the drugs from Kerala and supply to the customers through delivery platforms to hoodwink police and get the payment through online.

The accused even operate and get orders on whatsapp group containing the contact details of the consumers even the bank account belonging to a woman where they receive the payments , the officer,said .

This is the second case the CCB had cracked where the accused were operating from prison communicating through mobile phones.

A rowdy was booked for threatening and making extortion calls to clerk of the transport company from prison.

This is despite the prison department stepped up security and upgraded jammers to contain the use of mobile phones after Kannada film actor Darshan’s episode .
