A day after dramatic arrest of former minister from JDS,H D Revanna,the SIT officials on Sunday produced him before the magistrate and took him into three days of custody.
SIT officials sought five days of custody of Revanna for further investigation,but the defence argued that the court should not extend the Custody.
The SIT had arrested Revanna in connection with the kidnap and torture of one of the victim who was sexually exploited and later abducted and tortured at the farm house to intimidate her not to expose before the court.
The SIT officials based on the complaint filed by the victim’s son,raided the farm house and rescued the victim .
The victim statement before the court will nail the accused and the evidence gathered by the officials during the spot mahazar will corroborated the statement of the victim said a senior officer.
