Journalists’Body Urges CM,CS to Keep ACP Kishore Bharani Off Posting Until Complaints Are Probed

Special Correspondent

The Journalists’ Association has urged the Chief Minister and the Chief Secretary to refrain from assigning any fresh posting to ACP Kishore Bharani until the complaints pending against him are properly examined by the competent authorities.

The Association has requested that the allegations and complaints be considered through a fair, impartial and appropriate administrative process before any further posting decision is taken.

The Association said that its request is intended to ensure transparency, accountability and public confidence in the administration, while also safeguarding the professional rights and independent functioning of journalists.

The Association has therefore appealed to the Chief Minister and Chief Secretary to consider keeping any posting decision in abeyance until the pending complaints are examined and an appropriate decision is reached in accordance with law and applicable service rules.
