Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai stressed the need to work united to strengthen the booth.
Speaking after launching the Booth Vijay Campaign of Shivajinagar Constituency here on Monday,he said Vijay Sankalp has started from Booth No 50 of Vasanth Nagar Ward in Shivajinagar Assembly constituency,and this campaign had been taken as per instructions of the national and state party presidents.They started this campaign from the most difficult constituency.
The BJP had conquered this constituency once and Katta Subramanya Naidu had won from this segment.
Nirmal Kumar Surana had won from the Chickpet constituency.Now they have come here to win this constituency because of which more attention is given.
Whenever called he would come here and launch development works in the constituency.The booth must be strong enough to win the constituency.If BJP wins the Shivajinagar seat,they will get more than 130 seats across the State and this is the political signal.
The CM said to strengthen each booth,leaders of all important leaders must be convened and constitute a committee with 100 key voters who are ready to work actively.
Each booth must consist of SC/ST,backward classes, women, and Yuva morcha and work actively.
There are page pramukhs in the page committees. In the next three months,they must work hard by constituting the committees,visiting every house at least four times; telling voters about the achievements of the State government and anti-people policies of the Congress Government.
On the fifth time of their visit to the house,they just seek votes.The BJP flag must be hoisted in the Shivajinagar constituency this time.They can go before the people with a sense of pride as the BJP is the largest political party in the world and most people have accepted their ideology and principle.
The country is blessed to have Prime Minister Narendra Modi who is an able ruler and a patriot. He has not only ensured the social, and economic progress of the nation but also emerged as a world leader.
Tell truth to people
He said the BJP has the most organized army of workers.Both the State and the union governments have launched several welfare schemes and implemented them.
Modi launched the Smart City project.The Congress-led UPA Government ruled the nation for ten years but did not give a single paise.Whereas Modi has given Rs.500 crore to Bengaluru City.
The Smart City project has been implemented in Shivajinagar, Bharatinagar, Gandhinagar,and Chickpet but the legislators have claimed the credit for the implementation of this scheme.Truth must be told to people.The Smart City project had been launched only by the BJP.
The Congress Party has not done anything except make a profit.In the last 75 years,the Congress Party has ruled the country for 65 years and had kept the Shivajinagar constituency as a slum area.
This segment witnessed development only after the BJP came to power four years ago.The incumbent government had given Rs.8000 crore under Nagarotthana Project for Bengaluru and also Rs.2000 crore for Rajakaluve,gardens,and improvement of roads.
Plan to complete Metro-2nd phase by 2024
He said flyovers are being constructed and planning is done for the development of Bruhat Bengaluru.Instructions are given to complete Metro-2nd stage work before 2024.
The Metro-3rd state work will start once the Union Government gives its permission for Rs.26,000 crore project.
The sub-urban rail project is being taken up at a cost of Rs.15,000 crore for which the PM Modi has laid the foundation.
The work on the satellite town,ring road and Bengaluru Outer Ring Road has started.Tender will be finalised for the Peripheral Ring Road project and start the work immediately.
The Cauvery 5th stage work is being completed. The projects which were languishing for many years have been started.
People have rejected Congress
The CM said the Congress leaders will try to find fault in everything and they were rejected by the voters in the 2018 Assembly elections because of not launching the welfare programs.The electorate will reject the Congress Party this time too.
The BJP’s dream is to bloom the lotus in Shivajinagar constituency.The congress party is fighting for its existence and trying to remain alive in politics.The Congress is a sinking ship but those leaders are trying to save it.
The Congress leaders don’t have the concern for the people.On the other hand, the BJP has been doing the people’s politics.The BJP candidate must win in Shivajingar constituency by a margin of over 13,000 votes in the 2018 Assembly polls.
