Trio held,unaccounted cash of Rs.76 Lakhs seized by CCB

Officials of the Central Crime Branch (CCB) on tuesday arrested a gang of three persons who were carrying unaccounted cash of Rs.76 lakh .

The arrested are Robin Kumar, 26, a resident of
Shanthinagar and a native of Gujarat,Sundar Lal, 39, of Sudhamanagar and native of Rajasthan, and their associate Neeraj Mishra,37, of CKC Garden near Sudhamanagar.

Senior officer told reporters,Based on the credible information the Organised Crime Wing (OCW) officials of CCB rushed to Nanjappa Road in Shanthinagar and nabbed the trio.

During Questioning the accused failed to produce the documents related to the cash or any transactions and source of the money.Hence, they were arrested.

We suspect that they are part of hawala racket waiting for their contacts deliver the cash.

A case has been registered against the trio in Wilson Garden police station.The police are investigating the case further to know the source of the money and to ascertain the details of the persons they were waiting for to handover the cash.

Finally Bengaluru Police Commissioner,CH Pratap Reddy has appreciated Joint CP Crime,Raman Gupta,DCP Crime-1,Dr SD Sharanappa,and his whole team for the exemplary and commendable job done by them in nabbing the trio and recovering the cash a suitable reward will be given to whole team he added.
