East Division police geared up with Tight security for Ganesha idol immersion procession today, liquor ban in 8 police stations area – CH Pratap Reddy

he East division police organised a route march on Saturday ahead of Ganesha immersion processions in Halasuru lake on Sunday.

Hundreds of police along with the band led by
DCP East,Dr Bheemashankar S Guled took out the route march.

He said that we are geared up for tomorrow’s Ganesha immersion and Police personnel deployed for bandobust did a route march in Govindpura,KG Halli and DJ Halli police station limits .

Mainly from the entire stretch of Nagawar junction to pottery circle,and in sensitive areas like Rashad nagar,Umar nagar, Govindapur village and Nagawar village.

RAF, KSRP and CAR units also participated in the route march.

Alll precautionary measures have been taken and the police geared for Sunday’s bandobust,Mr. Guled,said .

All necessary precautions have been taken including installation of CCTV cameras en route, usage of drone camera,Liquor ban in all eight police station limits in and around KG halli area.

As an innovative measure this time around 250 Body cameras will be donned by our officers deployed on duty to monitor the procession”,he added.

Traffic movement have also been diverted along the procession route.
