Abhijit Ray, Kolkata.The name of Nadia’s Ranaghat South MLA Mukutmani Adhikari has been implicated in the Kalyani AIIMS job corruption case. He is also a member of BJP National Working Committee. And around this incident, uneasiness has increased within the BJP. Allegedly, Mukutmani took two and a half lakh rupees from a person in the name of getting a job in AIIMS.A young man resident of Habibpur filed a written complaint with Ranaghat police station alleging fraud against Mukutmani. However, Mukut said that their workers are being implicated in false cases. He is being smeared with false allegations. In this regard, Trinamool State General Secretary Kunal Ghosh said, “There are repeated complaints about Kalyani AIIMS. The way BJP leaders are being accused of illegally getting jobs for someone’s daughter and daughter-in-law, it should be seriously investigated.Now again there are complaints of giving jobs for money. If the BJP is doing this with a Kalyani AIIMS, what are they doing when they get another chance or in other states where they are in power!”The complainant wrote in the complaint, his conversation with the crown before the assembly polls. Later, Mukutmani told him that he can appoint him for Group-C and Group-D posts in AIIMS. 10 and 8 lakhs will be required for that. The youth complained that he sold his shop and collected two and a half lakh rupees. It is alleged that despite the promise, Mukutmani did not contact him after that.Several BJP leaders have already been implicated in the job corruption case. A BJP leader from Goeshpur said that a party MP asked for money in the name of getting a job in AIIMS. After that the leader was removed from the post. A BJP worker from Kalyani wrote an email to Amit Shah about the AIIMS recruitment corruption and complained against the party leadership. The Kalyani police station has also lodged a complaint against a close associate of a BJP leader for illegally providing employment in AIIMS.
