ity Police Commissioner,C H Pratap Reddy and senior police officials,as,Addl CPs,as,A subramanyeshwara Rao,Sandeep Patil,Joint CPs,as,Raman Gupta,Dr BR Ravikanthe Gowda with all other senior officials paid floral tribute to PSI Avinash and Constable Anil Mulik who were killed in a freak accident in the outskirts of Chittoor in the wee hours of Sunday.
The police officials gathered at the commissioner office to pay their last respect .
Speaking on the occasion,city police commissioner,Pratap Reddy,said that it is very unfortunate incident which shocked the entire department about the incident.
The last rites of the officials have been performed with the state honour.
Meanwhile the injured PSI Deekshith has been shifted to Hosmat hospital last night and undergone a surgery for the fracture while constable Sharana Basava is treated in CMS Vellore hospital and out of danger .
Doctors at the hospital sharing the health condition of Deekshith,said that he was getting initial treatment at Government hospital Chittoor and then shifted to CMC Vellore.
He was then shifted to HOSMAT for treatment of his fractured hand.
Dr Dinesh,Consultant Pulmonologist,(Chest Specialist) is treating.He has an jnury to the left knee and on Monday morning,Dr Thomas Chandy and Dr Kannan Kumar (Hand Surgeon) performed the surgery to fix the broken bones of right forearm.The surgery is successful.
Deekshith will be in ICU till tomorrow and he will be shifted to the ward.Presently, Mr.Deekshith’s condition is stable and he is talking he added.
