annada has an exciting history.It should be analysed beyond the state’s borders,Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai said.
Speaking at a book release function Bommai said,it is not wrong to learn other languages.
But using and fostering our native language is more important.
A lot of work has been done in the last 3 decades in implementing Kannada in administration and growth of Kannada literature.
But the apprehension of a threat to Kannada still exists.The attack from other languages is the main cause for this apprehension, Bommai said.
