Bengaluru: Sudan man held by CK Achukattu police for drug peddling,28 Ecstasy tablets seized Worth Rs.10 Lakhs

The South Division police of CK Achukattu police on Sunday arrested a 22 year old Sudan national and recovered 28 Ecstasy tablets from him.

The accused has been identified as,Nafi Ibrahim Mareg Saroor,a resident of Sudan National.

Senior officer told media persons,the CK Achukattu police inspector,Janardhan PR received a credible information that a Foreign national is waiting near Hosakerehalli with drugs in his possession to deliver to his clients.

Based on a tip off,a team of police headed by PI, Janardhan PR and team rushed to the spot and kept a close watch on his movements and after getting confirmation the team approached him and after checking his bag the team found 28 Ecstasy tablets in his possession and arrested the accused Nafi Ibrahim Mareg Satoor,red handed near a college.

During investigation the accused confessed the crime and a detailed investigation by the team after checking his Visa it is revealed that the accused had come to city in 2018 and overstayed in city after his visa expired. He was jobless and presumably peddling drugs to make money.

The total amount of seized drugs estimated to be over Rs.10 lakh.

The CK Achukattu police have booked him under NDPS and Foreigners Act and further investigating to ascertain the source of drugs.

Finally Bengaluru Police Commissioner,Kamal Pant has appreciated Addl CP West,Soumendhu Mukherjee, DCP South, Harish Pandey,ACP,BL Srinivasmurthy,PI,Janardhan PR and his whole team who has successfully nabbed the notorious drug peddler and seized ecstasy tablets from him and a suitable reward will be given to the whole team he added.
