Good Samaritan alert auto driver felicitated for reuniting a missing child to family members

An good Samaritan autorickshaw driver became a hero today as he played good samaritan and with his alertness has helped and reunited a six year old boy who wandered out of school campus on the first day of his school in Chamarajpet on Tuesday.

Senior officer told media persons,An alert auto driver turns hero in avoiding major tragedy for a the family of the child who was attending day 1 of his school .

The boy identified as Rohan,son of Ajith,a cook from Bihar.

Rohan was studying standard 1 at sriram shishu vihar on Chamarajpet 5th main the incident occurred during the afternoon break when Rohan who went to washroom slipped out of campus and lost in no time since he is new to the area.

Meanwhile the school staff noticed Rohan is missing and alerted his Parents.They searched for their child around before filing a missing complaint with the jurisdictional Chamarajpet police station,who in turn sounded alert across city.

However Govindaraju an autorickshaw driver who noticed the boy wondering alone in the evening near VV Puram he immediately took him to the VV Puram station.

The VV Puram police alerted their Chamarajpet counterparts and Ajith and his wife rushed to the station to reunite with him.The police appreciated and felicitated and thanked Govindaraju for his help.

The Chamarajpet police have warned the school staff to be careful about the children and not to allow them to go out of the campus.

Later on the next day DCP West,Dr Sanjeev M Patil called the auto driver to his office and honoured him for turning hero in reuniting the missing child to their family members safely with his good Samaritan work commissioner of police Kamal Pant also appreciated for his great work and even appreciated ACP,P Ravikumar, PI,BS Lokhapur and his whole team he added.
