Fire in Bengaluru Ajanta Trinity Hotel,7 Rescued

A four storeyed hotel at Trinity circle gutted and seven persons residing in escaped narrowly in a suspected accidental fire broke out due to short circuit on Monday night.

Furnitures and other valuables worth lakhs destroyed in the fire at Ajanta Trinity at 10 PM.  The hotel has 96 rooms but most of the rooms are unoccupied with only two guests left.

Two vehicles including auto and jeep parked in the basement gutted.The fire engulfed in basement and ground-floor while smoke covered the rest of the two stories.

Three tenders rushed to the spot and put out the fire and rescued the seven persons including five employees and two guests.Had the fire spread to adjacent building the damage would have been more, a fire officer,said .

Fire response personnel rescued seven persons from a four-storey hotel in the centrally located Trinity Circle that was gutted on September 13 night.

DCP East,Dr SD Sharanappa with other officers rushed to spot to take the stock of the situation and investigate what is the reason for fire a case has been registered in Ulsoor police station and further investigation is on.
