Pet shop owner murder case cracked,Trio held by KG Halli Police,

The KG Halli police on Monday arrested three persons who hacked a 30-year-old pet shop owner to death over a trivial row in broad daylight on August 31.

The accused have been identified as George, Daniel and Karthik.

Senior officer told reporters,a murder case was reported on August 31st in which three persons armed with lethal weapons hacked a pet shop owner.

After inspecting the spot special teams were formed to nab the miscreants and based on technical evidence and after analysing CCTV footage the team zeroed in three persons.

During investigation the accused confessed the crime and it is found that the accused are brothers and friends turned foe of the deceased G Ravi Kumar.

Investigations revealed that G Ravi Kumar,used to tease George as a rapist,after he was arrested and jailed in 2017 on the charges of molesting a girl in Banasawadi on December 31.

The victim was walking to her paying guest accomodation when George who worked in a hotel confronted her and harassed her.

The entire incident was captured on CCTV footage which was highlighted in the media two days later .

The Banasawadi police took up a suo motu complaint and arrested George and remanded him to judicial custody.

However deceased Ravi Kumar continues to tease him calling him by the name of a rapist everytime .

Enraged by this,George discussed with his brother Daniel and Karthik who decided to teach him a lesson.

On August 31,the trio confronted Ravi Kumar and hacked him to death near Sunday Bazaar in broad daylight.

Based on the complaint filed by G Ramanaiah, an Ex- Army man and father of Ravi Kumar, the police tracked down the accused and arrested them and further investigation is on.

Finally Bengaluru Police Commissioner,Kamal Pant has appreciated Addl CP East,S Murugan, DCP East,Dr SD Sharanappa,and his whole team for nabbing the accused and a suitable reward will be given to the team he added.
