Two including minor held for stabbing a mechanic to death over trivial row

The West Division police of Vijayanagar police have arrested a 20 year old delivery boy and his brother for stabbing a mechanic to death over trivial row.

The accused has been identified as,Arbaz Pasha,20,and his younger brother a 16 year old minor.

Senior officer told media persons,A 40-year-old car mechanic who was stabbed by his neighbours in Hampinagar during a row on August 17,succumbed to his injuries on Wednesday.

The Vijayanagar police have arrested two people, Arbaz Pasha,aged around 20 years,and his younger brother,a 16-year-old minor.

During investigation the accused confessed the crime and it is revealed that the Fazil worked in a car garage on RP Road in Hampinagar, while Arbaz was a medicine delivery boy.

The both were neighbours who lived in Padarayanapura,the two got into a fight,after Fazil took umbrage over the way Arbaz reportedly harassed his wife.

On Tuesday morning Arbaz and his brother went to the garage in Hampinagar where Fazil worked and allegedly stabbed him multiple times before fleeing the spot.

Fazil sustained grievous injuries and was hospitalised,but succumbed to his injuries the next day.

At the time of the incident,the police had registered an attempt to murder case.We are investigating the case further and will re-register the case as a murder,and we have arrested both the accused and further investigation is on to ascertain the reason behind the murder.
