Trio Chain snatchers arrested by Vijayanagar police Gold Chains Worth Rs 6 lakhs recovered .

The Vijayanagar police have arrested a gang of three chain snatchers and recovered gold valuables worth Rs6 lakh from them.
The accused  has been identified as Syed Musaddiqh (25), Sharukh Khan (25) and Mohammed Saleem (25) all resident of Chamarajpet.
On August 9th they had attempted to rob a woman near Vijayanagar Club and were caught by alert public when the victim raised alarm. Passers-by caught the trio. However, before they could be handed over to the police, the trio managed to escape.
A special team was formed by DCP west Zone, M N Anucheth under the supervision of ACP Vijayanagar sub division, M Venugopal the special team swung into action and after analysing the CCTV footage from the neighbouring areas and based on other reliable inputs they nabbed them .
DCP West Zone, M N Anucheth said in  vijayanagar police station limits we have nabbed 3 chain snatchers.We have totally busted 7 cases.The three would travel on a bike and target women who walked around alone.They would snatch chains and escape. They have even snatched chains in 2014-2015.A case was registered by a complainant who has stated that as on 9th August while she was walking near Vijayanagar Club road in the evening when she was going by walk three persons in two bike came from back and attempted to snatch a chain from a women neck near Vijayanagar Club road the victim raised a alarm and passer by rushed to spot but the trio managed to escape from the spot and based on complaint a special team was formed headed by PI, vijayanagar H Krishnamurthy and his team swung into action and based on CCTV footage in the vicinity our team got a breakthrough and got traced the trio and were detained for questioning on suspect and during the interrogation the trio confessed the crime and based on their statement we have recovered 260 grams worth of gold chains worth of Rs 6 lakhs and a Pulsar bike and Dio vehicle used to commit crime has been recovered from them a detailed investigation revealed that the accused were habitual offenders, who had been arrested earlier on similar charges and even imprisoned. Since the time they got out on bail, the accused had robbed as many as seven persons in and around the city, and the accused would sell the gold and spend the money lavishly and a case has been registered in vijayanagar police station and further investigation is on and finally Bengaluru Police Commissioner, T Suneel Kumar, Addl CP West, Malini Krishnamoorthy has appreciated DCP West Zone, M N Anucheth, ACP Vijayanagar sub division, M Venugopal, PI, H Krishnamurthy,PSIs as,Shivkumar, Shashi K R, K Thimmegowda, ASIs as,Venkatramu, Somashekar,and staff as,Srinivasmurthy, Umesh,Yeshwanth,Devraju,Smt.Gayathri, Sameer Mirzanavar,Shashidhar,Santhosh, Mehboob Nadaf,Ramesh Lamani and Gedappa has been appreciated for the commendable job done by them who has nabbed notorious chain snatcher he added .
