CM Bommai announces Rs.5 crore for the construction of a Community Hall at Sri Kshethra Mailara

C hief Minister Basavaraj Bommai said the government has decided to give Rs.5 crore at the Shakha Mutt of Sri Kaginele Mahasamsthan Kanaka Gurupeeta at Sri Kshethra Maila towards the construction of a community hall.

Speaking after inaugurating Sri Yelu Koti Residential School and Sri Gangamalammadevi Yatri Nivas here on Saturday,he said the government has been releasing grants on a big scale to the backward classes,dalit mutts and the community mutts for the social, religious, and academic activities.

The landless shepherds are facing a lot of problems and to extend a helping hand to the community a program has been chalked out to construct a house cum shed for the shepherds.

A scheme of distributing 20 sheets and a goat to the shepherds for 20,000 Shepherds association for Rs.354 crore will be launched soon.

It was possible to lead a life with self-respect only by becoming self-reliant.Those who are involved in the family professions such as Kammara,Chammara, Kumbara,and Badigaru are being helped to upgrade their professions.Through this, the government wants to strengthen the working communities.

Development of Kaginele and Baada

Bommai said his predecessor B.S.Yediyurappa had released Rs.40 crore to take up various development works in Kaginele and Rs.20 crore to improve Kanaka’s palace and fort.The previous CM had launched several programs for the welfare of all the communities without any differentiation and also made possible community development through the mutts.By declaring Kanaka Jayanti and Valmiki Jayanti, he had helped propagate the messages of those two saints.

Small communities are not taking the advantage of the government programs but the mutts are helping the people of all communities.

Three Dasohas,Food, Shelter,and Education are given by the mutts.Several communities would have been denied education had the mutts were not there.

The Kanakaguru Peeta seer has been creating awareness on education and social and the grants released by the government had been utilized to build a hostel to accommodate 2,000 children within a record time of one and a half years It’s a record.

Besides, the seer has completed the construction of Sri Mailara Mutt within five months. The seer has undertaken a padayatra seeking the fulfillment of the demands of the community.

The genealogy study is in the final stages and once the report is submitted, it will be discussed with Legal Department and do justice for the communities. The report along with the recommendation will be forwarded to the Government of India.

Necessary action in this regard will be taken soon. The community must get an education and jobs. We are taking all steps to protect the interest of the community”, the CM said.

Jagadguru Sri Niranjanandapuri Swamiji of Kanaka Gurupeeta, Kaginele Mahasamsthan, Sri Dr. Saikumar Baba of Hyderabad Vyadi Nivaran Ashram, former CM B.S.Yediyurappa, Minister B.A.Basavaraj and former minister K.S.Eshwarappa and others were present.
