The Chief Minister said, “Fast bowling and Jhulan Goswami’s name are synonymous in women’s cricket. That cricketer retired from a long career today. On behalf of the people of the state, I thank our daughter Jhulan Goswami. Honoring her fight and contribution. Many young women will grow up watching her greatest success.”. She had represented India in the Women’s World Cup cricket match at Eden Gardens,Kolkata. She has seen the revolution of women’s cricket with her own eyes. Jhulan’s have managed to change the image of neglected girls’ cricket. Therefore, before going down to the farewell match, she has said without hesitation,Women’s cricket in India is slowly rising to the top. Now we are right on the road.
