In yet another tragic incident,two minor children were allegedly killed by their mother following a domestic dispute with her husband in Yeshwanthpur on Sunday.
The deceased have been identified as Nived (4) and Nirmal (2) both were brought dead to the hospital,while their mother,Pavithra,is currently battling for her life in the intensive care unit.

Senior officer told reporters that ,the incident occurred in Gokulam first stage in Mathikere of Yeshwanthpur after a quarrel between Pavithra and her husband,Prashanth, escalated on Saturday evening.
Police suspect that Pavithra administered poison to the children before consuming it herself in an apparent suicide attempt.
The incident came to light on Sunday morning when Prashanth found his wife and children unconscious at home.
With the help of neighbours,they were rushed to a nearby private hospital,where doctors declared the children dead.
Police sources said the couple had been facing ongoing domestic issues and frequent arguments in recent days.
The exact trigger for the incident is yet to be established.
The deaths have left the neighbourhood in shock,with relatives and locals expressing grief over the loss of the two young lives.
The Yeshwanthpur police have registered a case of murder and attempt to suicide and begun an investigation.
Prashanth is being questioned,and the bodies of the children have been sent for post-mortem examination.
It may be recalled that a 40 year old priest of a local temple smothered his two sons aged 10 and five to death and later ended life after his wife eloped in Kunigal in Tumakuru on Friday night.
