A 13-year-old girl who left home along with her nine-year-old brother after being reprimand by their parents was traced and reunited with her family on Tuesday.
The incident was reported from the Ashwathnagar area under the limits of the Hennur police station.

Senior officer told reporters that,the siblings left their house after their parents reprimanded them for not attending tuition classes.
Using their Aadhaar cards,the girl availed free travel under the Shakti scheme and boarded government buses.
She purchased a ticket for herself but managed to take her younger brother along without a ticket.The children travelled extensively,moving through Shivamogga and Chitradurga districts.
When the children did not return home,worried parents launched a search and later lodged a missing complaint at the Hennur police station.
Acting swiftly,the police alerted stations across the state and also circulated information through social media platforms.
CCTV footage analysis revealed that the siblings left their house carrying a bag and later reached Majestic bus terminal via Marathahalli Bridge Skywalk.From there, they boarded a bus towards Shivamogga.
The children were later spotted in Bhadravathi,where members of the public recognised them based on messages circulated on social media and informed the police.
Based on this information,HAL police coordinated with the local police station,secured the children and brought them safely back.
The girl and her younger brother were later reunited with their parents after counselling.
