ASI,Woman head constable got injured riding scooter entangled with low hanging cable in Wilson garden

An Assistant Sub Inspector attached to Chikkabanavara traffic station and his colleague Woman Head Constable sustained serious injuries when the scooter they were travelling got entangled with a low-hanging cable on crematorium road in Wilson Garden on Saturday.

The injured Shivakumar TP, who was deployed for security duty for Lalbagh flower show,was on patrolling duty with his colleague Head constable Suguna,riding pillion.

While they passing the road,a dangling cable entangled to the handle of the scooter and he lost control over the scooter and both crashed on the road and sustained injuries .

Passers-by rushed the injured to near-by hospital where the doctor after examination confirmed that the knee cap of his right leg developed cracks and advised immediate surgery.Ms.Suguna also sustained injuries and recovering at the hospital .

Shivakumar,in his complaint to Wilson Garden police alleged that lying cable on the poles and trees haphazardly endangering the lives of the people passing by .

Based on the complaint the police have registered a case against the unknown person charging them under section 125 (a) (endangering human life and personal safety of others ) under BNS .

The police are now on the lookout for the person who put up cables for further action.
