A 33-year-old labourer was hammered to death in fight between two friends in an inebriated state at a under construction house in Tarabanahalli in Varthur on Tuesday.
The deceased Jitendra Pandey,a native of Bihar had come to Bengaluru a week ago and working as tiles worker at an under construction house and staying there with other friends .
The deceased after work had a party with his friend identified as Seetharam Pandey.They both got drunk and had an argument over trivial row .
In the melee Seetharam pandey picked up a hammer and attacked Jitendra,killing him on the spot .
The murder came to light when other labourers came to work and found Jitendra lying dead in a pool of blood and Seetharam is missing .
Based on the complaint the police have registered a case of murder and efforts are on to track down the accused .
