Alert airlines staff caught a 30-year-old private firm employee from Bengaluru while he was trying to board a flight to Almaty in Kazakasthan using different person travel document .
The accused identified as Shreyas R Ramananda, resident of Vijayanagar had went to Delhi by domestic flight from Bengaluru international airport and tried to board a flight to Almaty with different person’s travel documents.
The Indigo airlines staff verified the passport and found different person in the photograph of the passport .
A Detailed inquiry with Shreyas led him to confess and the staff found that he was trying to travel with the passport belonging to Ramanada matigodu Satyanarayana.
The accused was sent back to Bengaluru and a report was filed with the airport police in his regard.
Based on the complaint by Varun Kumar,Manager Security,Interglobe Aviation,the airport police arrested Shreyas under various section of passport act and also under cheating by impersonation .
The police are questioning the accused to ascertain the reason behind flying to Almaty with different passport and how he source it.
