Bengaluru:A 35-year-old CISF constable was killed in a road accident after he came under the wheels of a truck while riding a motorcycle near Lakkur in Dabaspet, on the outskirts of Bengaluru,on Tuesday.
The deceased has been identified as Principal Singh,a native of Punjab.
He was residing at the CISF quarters in Dabaspet and was serving as a constable in the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF).
According to preliminary information,Singh was riding his motorcycle towards Dabaspet to procure electrical materials for the CISF quarters when the accident occurred.
A truck reportedly collided with his motorcycle, following which Singh fell onto the road and came under the truck’s wheels.He sustained critical injuries and died in the accident.
The Dabaspet police have taken up the case and are investigating the circumstances leading to the accident.
