The kodiegalli police have registered an FIR against a radiologist for allegedly drugging and sexually assaulting womn staff who was working at his hospital in Kodigehalli,Bengaluru.
The accused has been identified as Dr.Yuvaraj Manohar, owner of Vikhyath Diagnostic Centre.
According to the complaint,the victim,aged 30 years was working since two years allegedly given tablets that caused her to lose consciousness while she was at work.
The doctor allegedly raped her after she became unconscious and is accused of recording the incident on video.She further alleged that the accused later threatened and blackmailed her using the video and sexually assaulted her multiple times.
According to the complaint,the incident allegedly took place on December 15,2025.
She alleged that Yuvaraj took her to a room on the first floor of the diagnostic laboratory on the pretext of searching for files.
She alleged that at around 11 am,the accused sprayed pepper spray on her face,following which she lost consciousness.
When she regained consciousness around 11.30 am, she allegedly found herself without clothes.
When she questioned him about the incident,the accused allegedly told her that he had recorded a nude video of her and threatened to upload it on social media if she disclosed the incident to anyone.
The complainant further alleged that the accused subsequently arranged a rented house for her in Amruthnagar and repeatedly sexually assaulted her.She also alleged that on July 2,2026,the accused abused her using caste-based slurs after learning that she belonged to the Holeya community.
He allegedly told her that he belonged to a higher caste, that he no longer wanted her company and that she would not be allowed to continue working in his company.
Based on her complaint,the Kodigehalli police have registered an FIR and initiated an investigation.Further details regarding the sections invoked and the circumstances of the alleged offences are awaited.
The victim told the media that even her family shamed her and used intimidation and castists slurrs when she approached them for justice .
