Children from oppressed communities must be educated;only education can transform society.
Let us all walk the path shown by Ambedkar:Dr.G. Parameshwara.
Chintamani (Chikkaballapur):Deputy Chief Minister Dr.G. Parameshwara said that children from oppressed communities must become educated.
He urged families to resolve to educate their children, even if it means making sacrifices, stressing that education alone has the power to transform society.
Speaking after inaugurating the newly constructed Dr. B.R.Ambedkar Bhavan–Anubhava Kendra, the statue of Lord Buddha, the statue of Bharat Ratna Dr.B.R. Ambedkar, and the Digital Study Centre in Chintamani city of Chikkaballapur district today,he said that education alone can bring about transformation and urged everyone to encourage children to pursue education.

Dr.M.C.Sudhakar has created history by establishing the Dr.B.R.Ambedkar Bhavan–Anubhava Kendra in Chintamani taluk.“I have not seen an Ambedkar Bhavan of this kind anywhere in the state, including Bengaluru,” he said.
Understanding the achievements and history of Dr.B.R. Ambedkar is not an easy task. That work has been undertaken here.
The Ambedkar Anubhava Kendra and Digital Study Centre will greatly benefit schoolchildren in their learning.
Dr.M.C.Sudhakar’s name will remain etched in the history of Chintamani. All of you must stand by him,”Dr. Parameshwara said.
Dr.Ambedkar was born into an extremely poor family but overcame numerous hardships to pursue higher education.
He was the first person from the Dalit community in India to pursue studies abroad.During that period, six people in the world were regarded as great intellectuals, and Babasaheb Ambedkar was among them.
He acquired knowledge at Columbia University that would go on to contribute to transforming India,Dr. Parameshwara said.
“Today, India has grown into the world’s fourth-largest economy. The credit for the economic self-reliance we are achieving must also go to Babasaheb Ambedkar.
The Reserve Bank of India is also among his contributions.Ambedkar was among the first leaders to emphasise women’s representation.
He introduced the Hindu Code Bill to ensure equality for women.Every woman in India should keep the photograph of such a great leader and pay homage to him,”he said.
He further said that no other country had incorporated equality, justice and fraternity into its Constitution in the same manner.
“Without these three principles, democracy would have no meaning.Babasaheb Ambedkar insisted that our people must have the right to choose their representatives and be represented.
He held discussions with Mahatma Gandhi on this issue. If we follow Ambedkar’s path,we will achieve self-respect,equality and fraternity.Let us all walk the path shown by Ambedkar,”he said.
“We are witnessing the state of society today.People from oppressed communities have become educated, officers and ministers.Yet,society has still not fully accepted oppressed communities.
The recent incident involving AICC President Mallikarjun Kharge is evidence of this.It is difficult to understand what message those who sought to purify a place visited by Mallikarjun Kharge intended to convey to society.
A similar act of purification was carried out after Babu Jagjivan Ram visited Banaras Hindu University. No one condemned such regressive actions. We must all wake up and take a stand against such practices,”Dr. Parameshwara said.
“We have been fighting for social transformation and for bringing change to the lives of oppressed communities.
Karnataka was the first state in the country to introduce the SCSP/TSP legislation.
By bringing this legislation,Siddaramaiah has secured a permanent place in the hearts of all of us.We are all striving to bring change by following the path shown by Babasaheb Ambedkar,”he said.
Dr. Parameshwara described M.C.Sudhakar as a future leader with immense opportunities ahead of him. “I worked alongside Sudhakar’s father,Chowdareddy.I understand the kind of person he is and the values he carries,” he said.
