Woman’s Skeleton Found in Duplex House After Nearly a Year in Bengaluru

In a shocking incident,the skeletal remains of a 52-year-old woman were found inside a duplex house in Havanur Layout,Bagalagunte,Bengaluru,nearly a year after she is suspected to have died.

The deceased has been identified as Dakshayini (52).

According to preliminary information,she had been living alone and had reportedly slipped into depression following the deaths of her husband and son.

Her husband,Umesh,died around 10 years ago,while her son succumbed to cancer later.Sources said Dakshayini was deeply affected by the deaths and had been living in the house.

Police suspect that she may have died around a year ago.Her daughter and son-in-law had also reportedly not visited the house for nearly a year,following which her death went unnoticed.

The woman’s remains were found in a skeletal condition inside the duplex house,raising questions over how her death remained undetected for such a long period.

Personnel from the Bagalagunte Police Station visited the spot and conducted an inspection.Police have begun an investigation to ascertain the exact cause and circumstances of her death.
